Assistant Sport Director of World ParaVolley Laurent Torrecillas says that sport is a universal language that can bring people together.
On the sidelines of the 2018 Men's World Super 6, Torrecillas says the sport has a power to terminate disputes between the nations.
“I believe that sports can bring the nations together, no matter what their origin, background, religious beliefs or economic status,” the Frenchman said.
“I’ve traveled to Tabriz as the competition’s social media manager. This is my obligation to protect the sponsors’ rights. To publish the news related to the 2018 Men's World Super 6 via social media, covering news and interviewing with the coaches and players are my another obligation,” Torrecillas added.
“World Para Volley organization is going to get more followers and every interesting news related to sitting volleyball is its first priority,” Torrecillas noted.
“The competition underway in Tabriz is a good opportunity for the sport and it can be helpful for sitting volleyball. We see well-organized competition in Tabriz and the city has good infrastructure,” he concluded.
