After the first 2-1 victory of the Iranian blind footballers, Team
Russia held Iran to a 0-0 draw in the second leg.
These two friendlies were hosted in Kish Island after the International
Blind Football Foundation granted the "IBF Foundation Blind Football Neighboring
Countries Challenge Series" to Iran. This program has aimed to provide
organizations involved in blind football with financial support to organize
friendly international matches with neighboring countries.
