Hadi Rezaei, the chef de mission of Iranian delegation,
unveiled the arrangement of Team Iran for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games
during an online press conference on June 13th. You can find the arrangement as
follows:
Powerlifting: 6 athletes (all men) – 2 team officials
Athletics: 14 athletes (13 men & 1 woman) – 3 team
officials
Archery: 6 athletes (5 men & 1 women) – 3 team officials
Men’s Sitting Volleyball: 12 athletes – 2 team officials
Judo: 2 athletes (both men) – 2 team officials
Shooting: 3 athletes (all women) – 2 team officials
Canoe: 2 athletes (1 man & 1 woman) – 1 team official
Men’s Wheelchair Basketball: 12 athletes – 2 team officials
Taekwondo: 3 athletes (2 men & 1 woman) – 2 team
officials
Another 5 and 16 delegates including Mahmoud Khosravi Vafa
and Mohammad Tabe, NPC President and CEO respectively, Hadi Rezaei, the Chef
the Mission, along with a medical team, translators and the media group are
designated to accompany the Team during the Games.
