Iranian sitting volleyball players beat Team Russia in the first leg of their friendly in preparation for Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.
With less than 2 months to go until the pandemic-delayed Paralympic torch is lit, Iran and Russia lined up against each other to play their first friendly in national training camps of Iran. In this match, Team Iran delivered a better performance and sealed a 3-0 victory over Russia. The second leg of the friendlies will be held on Wednesday, July 14th.
These friendly matches, with live telecast, are planned as a five-day joint training camp from July 11th to 16th in I.R. Iran national training camps in the preparation for the upcoming Paralympic Games in Tokyo.
