NPC Iran kicks off the 14th National Paralympic Week with the message of Minister of Sport and Youth.
NPC Iran officially kicked off the 14th edition of the National Paralympic Week today. To this end, Seyed Hamid Sajadi, IR Iran Minister of Sport and Youth issued a congratulation message highlighting the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics success:
“We praise the Almighty God for having the chance to celebrate National Paralympic Week after making history at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games with reliance in God and hard work. Our Paralympians, the so-called people with disability, brought people joy and happiness.
Disability is an opportunity for the people with disability to win the game, and the victory they clinch in areas such as sport and health with regard to their disability is of more importance. I kindly ask all ministries, governmental and non-governmental organizations and every individual to step in and help the slogan of the National Paralympic Week "Action, Strength, Honor" come true.
Although with the outbreak of COVID-19, this year, we cannot celebrate the National Paralympic Week next to each other for the public, we should leave no stone unturned to deliver different programs in different cities and do our best to overcome the shortcomings by launching some online programs.
It is hoped that Para sports can continue delivering outstanding performance."
The 14th National Paralympic Day & Week takes place from
October 10th to 16th, 2021.
