Iran's
national football team, known affectionately as Team Melli made some late
strikes to beat Wales in an exciting finish to FIFA World Cup 2022's contest in
group B on 25 November.
The
players rating against Wales in which Team Melli achieved a convincing win 2-0
scored by the two unlikeliest players.
Following
this emotional victory to keep our World Cup dreams alive, NPC Iran expressed
gratitude to the Iranian team’s members and their coaches for gaining the success.
Iran's NPC message is as follows:
“Congratulating
this great success to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and the proud people
of Iran, which is the manifestation of the dynamism and glory of a nation, we
sincerely thank all the valuable efforts of all officials, coaches, and
especially the capable players of the national football team.”
Iran is scheduled to face the United States on November 29.
