The new round of Iran’s para shooting national training and selection camp will be commenced from Thursday March 30th, in Tehran.
Supported by the NPC, Iran Sports
Federation for the Persons with Disabilities plans to commence the new round of para
shooting camp in Tehran on 30 March and it will run until 14 April, inviting 14
athletes.
At this training and selection camp, the IRISFD will see two division groups of rifle
and pistol shooters, four coaches and four support staff in action as below:
Athletes in the first group: (30 March-14 April)
Sareh Javanmardi, Nasrin Shahi, Seyed
Mohammadreza Mirshafiei, Roghayeh Shojaei and Zahra Gholamzadeh, Mahsa Haji
Mohammadi, Faezeh Ahmadi, Yeganeh Jabbari, Mobina Moslemi, Masoumeh
Khodabakhshi.
Athletes in the second group: (30 March-5 April)
Mohammadreza
Amini, Hadi Najafi Maleki, Mostafa Shiri, Taha Taraghi.
The para shooters will train with head
coaches Hossein Amiri and Khadijeh Barmaki, coach Ebrahim Rahimi and assistant
coach Zahra Alibeigi at IRISFD’s and Azadi Sport Complex’s shooting ranges.
This fifteen-day training camp aims to sharpen the
athletes' skills for the upcoming events such as the 2023 WSPS World Cup and
Hangzhou Para Asian Games.
The 2023 WSPS World Cup Competition
will be held in Changwon, Korea from 22 – 31 May 2023.
