Iranian para powerlifters to take part in the new round of Hangzhou Men’s national camp in Tehran, from Thursday.
Iran Sports Federation for the
Persons with Disabilities plans to stage the twelfth national para powerlifting
training camp for Men’s squad in Tehran. The training camp will be supported by
the NPC Iran.
From 30 March to 19 April, eleven
athletes will gather at the IRISFD’ Siamand Rahman para powerlifting campus to
resume their preparation for Hangzhou Asian Para Games.
During the twenty-day activity,
participants will follow their training program, mentored by the, Iranian head
coach Hossein Tavakoli, the former Olympic champion, and coach Ahmad Molla
Hosseini.
The athletes who are invited to strengthen their power at the
camp:
Rouhollah Rostami, Seyed Hamed
Solhipour, Nader Moradi, Mohsen Bakhtiar, Saman Razi, Seyed Yousef Yousefi, Ahmad
Aminzadeh, Amir Jafari, Mahdi Sayadi, Aliakbar Gharibshahi, Ali Seifi.
The aim of this twenty-day training
camp is to sharpen the athletes' skills for the Hangzhou Para Asian Games.
Iran won four gold, four silver and
two bronze medals in men’s powerlifting at the 2018 Asian Para Games.
