National VI athletics camp to start across the country
A new round of national athletics training camp for the athletes with a vision impairment is to start across the country on Friday, 21 April.

 

Iran NPC, Tehran- According to Iran Sports Federation for the Blind and Visually Impaired Persons, sixteen round of Para Athletics camp will run at the different venues across the country.

The camp set to hold from April 21st to May 18th, and all the sixteen invited athletes will follow their training program with the national coaches in their hometowns.

 

 Athletes’ list:

Hajar Safarzadeh, Amir Khosravani, Sajad Nikparast, Ali Shamshiri, Khadijeh Abdi, Zahra Sadat Pouresmaeil, Omid Zarif, Mahdi Moradi Kouchi, Mahdi Olad, Fatemeh Amirzadegani, Saman Pakbaz, Ali Pirouj, Amir Hossein Alipour, Hasan Bajoulvand, Vahid Ali Najimi and Mehrdad Moradi.

National coaches’ list:

The camp, which is designed to provide athletes preparation for Hangzhou Asian Para Games, will be supervised by head coach Aliasghar Hadizadeh. The national coaches who will assist him in different cities are as below:

 

Hormoz Rad Sadeghinia, Darioush Namavar, Hamid Mazarzei, Zahra Alizadeh, Amir Mohammad Solhmirzaei, Ali Mohebi, Mohsen Pakbaz, Omid Mohammad Mohammadi, Mostafa Bahrami, Mashalah Taheri and Mahdi Rahimi.

 

The Iranian para-athletics squad won 8 gold, 6 silver and 10 bronze medals at the 2018 Asian Para Games.
