Ten goalball Players are to take part in the new round of national training camp in Babolsar, Mazandaran on 27 April.
Organized by Iran Sports Federation
for the Blind and Visually impaired (IRISFB) with cooperation of National
Paralympic Committee, the 18 preparatory camp of men’s goalball will be held at
Shahid Azimi Campus of Babolsar from April 27 to May 4, 2023.
The ten goalball
players are to train with head coach Bahman Dousti Vala and coaches Milad Souri
and Ali Akbar Abrishami.
The athletes at the camp:
Mohamad Parnia,
Mostafa Shahbazi, Mahdi Abbasi, Mohamad Mahdi Nafisinasab, Mohsen Abdolmaleki,
Reza Avaznejad, Amin Karimi, Mohamad Mahdi Zareei, Amir Mohamad Bahrami, Khalil
Shahriarnasab, Mostafa Sadeghi and Milad Soori.
The Camp aims at the preparation of the athletes for upcoming events such as Asian Para Games.
Goalball men’s squad won the title at
the 2018 Asian Para Games.
