National para athletics championships held at Aftab Enghelab Sport Complex in Tehran from 9 to 12 May.
IRAN NPC- Organised by Iran Sports Federation for the Persons with Disabilities (IRISFD) with NPC's partnership, the competition was approved by International Paralympic Committee (IPC).
According to IRISFD, 104 female athletes from 28 provinces and 171 male athletes from 30 provinces were participated in the events at Tehran's Aftab Enghelab Sport Complex, from 9 to 12 May, 2023.
The top three teams in women's and men's divisions were as below:
Women's Team:
GOLD: Isfahan's province (17 points)
SILVER: Tehran A province (16 p)
BRONZE: Khouzestan province (14 p)
Men's Division:
GLOD: Fars province (27 points)
SILVER: Khouzestan province (26 p)
BRONZE: (25 p)
This championships served as a selection platform for the upcoming events for both men and women para athletes.
