Iranian female para powerlifters resume their trainings at the new APG camp, as Iran Sports Federation for the Persons with Disabilities reports.
NPC IRAN- According to the Iran Sports Federation for the Persons with Disabilities (IRISFD), Following Hangzhou Para Asian Games’ preparations process, five female para
powerlifters are training at the new national camp.
Organized by IRISFD with
National Paralympic Committee’s partnership, the fifth edition of para
powerlifting national camp for women starts in
Tehran.
This camp holds from May
20th to June 2nd under supervision of coaches Saebeh Abbaszadeh and Azadeh
Koohdarehei.
The invitees:
Mahdieh Mohammadian,
Zeinab Yaghoubi, Zahra Aghaei, Nikoo Roozbahani and Samaneh Hoda aghghaleh.
Through the
establishment of women’s national para powerlifting team, there are glimmers of
hope for the Iranian females across the country.
Being hopeful of making
a successful debut at the Asian Para Games, the Iranian female para
powerlifters have also shown a keen interest toward their first asian step.
