Iran's first gold at the 2023 Changwon Para Shooting World Cup went to Nasrin Shahi Samakhoun on Saturday.
Iranian Nasrin Shahi won the title at the 2023 Changwon Para Shooting World Cup
NPC IRAN- Para Shooting World Cup 2023 has been kicked off in Asia with
the best of 41 countries from 25 May.
In the P2 women's 10m air pistol SH1, Iranian
Nasrin Shahi, qualifying in the first place (570) at the Changwon International
Shooting Range.
Shahi overtook her French rival Gaelle Edon (237.1)
with a total score of 239.6 in the final match and won P2
title at the Changwon World Cup on 27
May 2023.
She had been secured her berth for Paris 2024 in
P2- women's 10m air pistol SH1 last year at the Al Ain 2022 World
Championships.
The other Iran’s representative Faezeh Ahmadi
stood fourth at P2 final.
In the air rifle events, Iranian Masoumeh
Khodabakhshi and Mohammadreza Amini had also achieved a silver medal at the R11-
Mixed Team 10m Air Rifle Standing SH2 on FRI 26 May.
As many as 226 shooters from 41 nations are
fighting out for the top places and Paris 2024 Paralympic quotas in Changwon,
South Korea from 25 to 30 May.
