The National Paralympic Committee (NPC) sent a message of condolence to the family of Iranian female para-athlete due to her sudden loss.
NPC IRAN- National Paralympic Committee of Iran expresses the deep sorrow at Zahra Bornaki passing and offers its sympathies to her family and friends.
"Our whole big family of Iran NPC are deeply saddened by this news. We would like to extend, on the behalf of National Paralympic Committee, our sincere grief and condolences to Zahra’s family at this difficult time. Our prayers are with them for this great loss.
May her soul rest in perfect peace and may God grant her loved ones the strength to endure this pain."
Iranian Para Asian medalist Zahra Bornaki passed away due to an accident Saturday on 27 May at the age of 33.
Bornaki was a member of Iran athletics national team at the 2018 Para Asian Games, where she achieved out a silver medal.
