NPC President paid a visit to the training camp of National Para Canoe Team.
NPC IRAN, Tehran: President of the National Paralympic Committee Dr. Ghafoor Karegary together with NPC specialists of Sport Manager, visited Para Canoe training
camp and talked to the athletes.
This visit was also involved Dr. Alireza
Sohrabian, the Head of Iran Canoeing-Rowing and Sailing Federation (ICRSF) alongside the technical staff of national para canoe team.
After a detailed review of the
national preparatory camps by Dr. Sohrabian, APC President talked to the team.
Addressing the Canoeists at the
camp, Dr. Karegary stated that Iranian para athletes have been demonstrated potential and ambition to succeed in gaining key roles at the highest level of their sport, many times.
“As the Head of Iran NPC, this is my
first visit to the Para Canoe camp. I have come here firstly, to appreciate the efforts and determination of you and your coaches, and secondly, to emphasize on our support; NPC will stay by your side,“ Dr. Karegary said to the Team.
He added: “I hope that Para Canoe will showcase its capabilities at Hangzhou Asian Para Games. You have the most important requirements, including strong motivations and experienced technical staff.”
