With Asian Para Games in mind, Iran’s para swimmers have been attended the new round of prep camp.
NPC IRAN- National para swimmers have been joined the 16th Hangzhou training camp in Tehran from 10 June 2023.
Inviting four athletes to the camp, it has been arranged by I. R. Iran Sports Federation for the Persons with Disabilities (IRISFD) and National Paralympic Committee's support to prepare the squad for the 4th Edition of Asian Para Games.
Alireza Izadi conducts training sessions as the head coach, along with the coach Hamid Hasani Sadi and conditional coach Ali Gorzi.
The camp will last till 21 June at the swimming pool of Azadi Sport Complex.
Para swimmers shortlisted for the camp:
Shahin Izadyar, Sina Zeyghaminejad, Abolfazl Negarestani, Ali Mahmoodkhani.
The 4th Asian Para Games will be held in Hangzhou, China from 22 to 28 October 2023.
Iranian para swimmers claimed 8 medals (6 Gold, 1 Silver and Bronze) at the Jakarta 2018 Asian Para Games.
