Iran NPC, Tehran- IRITF set to stage a new round of national para taekwondo
training camp in Tehran from June 22nd.
According to the IR Iran Taekwondo
Federation, sixteen para athletes are to join in the new round of national camps.
Dividing in two-groups of 8 females and 8 males, para taekwondo players will be
prepared for the upcoming events such as World Championships and Hangzhou Asian
Para Games.
Training sessions will be lasted until
July 22nd.
Women’s invitees:
Maryam Abdollahpour, Mahdiyeh Sadat
Hosseini, Narges Javadi, Roza Ebrahimi, Romina Chamsouraki, Leila Mirzaei,
Marzieh Nasrollahi, Aylar Jami.
The Women’s squad will be led by the
head coach Atefeh Keshavarz, and coaches Zahra Hosseini and Zahra hajivand.
Men's invitees:
Saeid Sadeghianpour, Hamed Haghshenas,
Amir Mohammad Haghighat Shenas, Alireza Bakht, Mohammad Taha Hasanpour, Hossein
Mirzaei, Amir Joudi and Mahdi Pourrahnama.
Men’s team will train
with the head coach Payam Khanlarkhani, joined by coach Ali Karimi Saber.
Para-taekwondo will make its Asian Para
Games debut in Hangzhou.
Hangzhou will be the fourth edition of
the Asian Para Games and takes place between October 22 to 28, 2023.
