2023 European Para Taekwondo Open Championships came to an end in France.
Iran NPC, Tehran- With 2024 Paralympic Games coming up in Paris, the European
Para-Taekwondo Championship was held in Montargis, France on June 30, 2023.
Winning two golds and four bronzes, Iranian men and women squads finished as the runner-up.
Maryam Abdollahpour and Hamed
Haghshenas reached the gold medals in the -47 kg and +80 kg weight categories.
Saeid Sadeghian, Mahdi Pourrahnama,
Alireza Bakht, and Rosa Ebrahimi were the winners of the bronze medals
respectively, in the -63 kg, -70 kg, -80 kg, and -57 kg weight categories.
Turkish team won the title.
Uzbekistan stood third place.
A total of 146 athletes from 31
countries took part at the 2023 G2 European Para Taekwondo Championships in Montargis,
France Friday 30 June.
