Tehran is hosting a new round of VI Men’s Judo from 27 June.
Iran NPC, Tehran- A total of 13 Judo players are training in the
national preparatory camp of Tehran, under the lead of head coach Mohammadreza
Haji Yousefzadeh. Farhad Mabi and Mohsen Zakaria assisted him as the national coaches.
Organized by Iran Sports Federation
for the Persons with Vision Impairments and NPC’s partnership, the 19th
camp for Men’s squad get underway from 27 June to 5 July.
The athletes who are training at the
camp:
Ali Navaei, Seyed Meisam Banitaba,
Vahid Nouri, Mahdi Borchlou, Vahid Jeddi, Saeid Kouhkan, Mousa Gholami, Omid
Jafari, Hossein Tavana, Ehsan Mousanejad, Mohammadhossein Babaeian, Alireza
Ghorbanzadeh and Shayan Salehi.
The camp aims at the para-athletes’
preparations for upcoming events including 2023 IBSA World Games and Hangzhou
Asian Para Games.
2023 IBSA World Games will be held in Birmingham, Great Britain from 18-27 August 2023.
The 4th Asian Para Games Hangzhou
will be held from 22 to 28 October 2023.
Iranian men’s judo squad grabbed two
gold, two silver and three bronze medals in the 3rd edition of the Asian Para
Games.
