Iran’s para-athletics delegation to take part in the 2023 World Championships on July 3rd.
Iran NPC, Tehran- Team Melli will leave Tehran for Paris’23
Para Athletics World Championships on Monday (tonight).
A total of 18 Iranian representatives
are set to compete at the Charléty Stadium, in the south of the French capital,
from 8 to 17 July.
IR Iran Sports Federation for the Persons with
Disabilities has been named a 12-member squad; Athletes with a Physical
Impairment (PI) representing Iran at the Paris Event:
Hamed Amiri, Saeid Afrooz, Seyed Aliasghar Javanmardi,
Amanolah Papi, Hadi Kaeidi, Rashid Masjedi, Elnaz Darabian, Hashemiyeh
Motaghian, Sadegh Beit Sayah, Sajad Mohammadian, Yasin Khosravi, Milad Ramezani,
Alireza Mokhtari, Elham Salehi.
The team will be conducted by coaches including Bahman
Rezaei, Mahdi Farsi, Mahdi Shahrokhi, Khosro Rahimizadeh, Fatemeh Barmshouri.

Iran Sports Federation the Persons with Blind and Vison Impairments has also
secured the tickets for its VI athletes, consisting of:
Amir Khosravani, Sajad Nikparast, Ali
Pirouj and Mahdi Olad.
The squad will be led by coaches Aliasghar Hadizadeh,
Hormoz Rad Sadeghinia and Amir Mohammad Solhmirzaei.
Paris’23, a 10-day Championship featuring 171 para-athletics events, will witness 1330 World elite athletes competing from 107 nations. It will kick
off on July 8th.
