Men’s wheelchair basketball training camp starts today in Tehran.
Iran NPC, Tehran- With an outstanding display at the 2023 Dubai World Champioships,
Iranian male wheelchair players resume their trainings at the 13th camp of
Hangzhou Asian Para Games from today (17 July).
Sixteen male wheelchair players from different cities of
Iran have been invited to the camp.
head coach Mohammadreza Dastyar will impart training to the
players, assisted by coach Behrouz Soltani and Yaser Gilaki (as conditional
coach).
The players at the camp are as below:
Hakim Mansouri, Vahid Sadatpour, Alireza Kamalifar, Omid
Hadi Azhar, Aboulfazl Jalaei, Saeid Heidari, Hasan Abdi, Mohsen Tolouei, Mohammad
Mohammadnezhad, Reza Eyvazi, Mohsen Bigdeli, Abdoljalil Gharanjik, Amirreza
Ahmadi, Mohammad Hassan Sayari, Morteza Abedi, Mahdi Abasi, Hasan Abdi.
The camp will be concluded 26 July 2023.
The Senior Men’s National Team is the defending Asian
title.
The team also ranked Third at the 2022 Dubai IWBF Wheelchair
Basketball World Championships, held on 9 – 20 June 2023.
