Iran para-archers collected the first available quota places for the Paris 2024.
Iran NPC, Tehran- National para-archers collected the first available quota places for the
Paris 2024 Paralympic Games during Wednesday’s mixed team eliminations events of the
2023 World Archery Para Championships.
The 2023 World Archery Para
Championships is underway in Pilsen, Czech Republic from July 17th.
Eliminating Team Australia, Iran’s Mixed Recurve team, including Mohammad Reza Arab Ameri
and Somayeh Rahimi, paved the way to the last eight with a 5-4
triumph over Indian Mixed team.
The team also qualified for Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
Through a semi lost to China, national recurve mixed team is to
face Japan in a third-place playoff tomorrow, on 23 July.
Iran’s Hadi Nouri also stood top 16 individuals of the World Championships in men’s compound competitions and achieved a spot for Paris 2024.
