NPC President climbed to the top of Iran’s Mount Alam.
Iran NPC, Tehran- To mark the positive impact of sport activities and raise the awareness
about its importance for the sport governing bodies, NPC President climbed to
the top of Iran’s Mount Alam on Friday 21 July 2023.
NPC President Dr. Ghafoor Karegary, as a climber invites the
national sport managers to be part of sporting activities.
He has been involved
in mountain climbing.
Mr. President said: ”On the behalf of the Iran Paralympic Family,
I would like to inspire our national sport managers to be part of the movement.
let's prepare ourselves, with passion of sport and show the empowerments.
We should be part of these activities to spread the sport
spirit in the society.”
Mount Alam is a mountain in Alborz Range in north of Iran,
Mazandaran Province, forming a peak of Takht-e Suleyman Massif.
It is located in Kelardasht District of Mazandaran Province
of Iran. With an elevation of 4,828 meters, it is the second-highest peak in
Iran after Mount Damavand.
