New round of Para Taekwondo national training camp is underway in Tehran.
Iran NPC, Tehran- A total of sixteen national para
athletes, including 8 females and 8 males, have attended in a 30-day camp,
as I.R. Iran Taekwondo Federation (IRITF) reports.
Trainings have been organized by IRITF,
with NPC’s partnership, in Tehran from July 22nd to August 22nd. The players are preparing for the
upcoming events such as World Championships and Hangzhou Asian Para Games.
Women’s squad are training with head coach Atefeh Keshavarz, and coaches Zahra Hosseini and Zahra Hajivand.
Men’s team are training with head coach Payam Khanlarkhani, joined by coach Ali Karimi Saber.

Para-taekwondo will
make its Asian Para Games debut in Hangzhou.
Hangzhou will be the
fourth edition of the Asian Para Games and takes place between October 22 to
28, 2023.
