Iran’s men para powerlifting team to follow new trainings round in Tehran.
Iran NPC, Tehran- The last warm-up
preparations of men’s para powerlifters in advance of the 2023 World
Championships are to kick off from August 1st.
According to
Iran Sports Federation for the Persons with Disabilities (IRISFD), a total of eleven
athletes have been invited to join the 16th round of national para
powerlifting training camps in Tehran, under the lead of Head coach Hossein
Tavakoli and his assistant coach Ahmad Molla Hosseini until 17 August.
The rosters will be
departed for Dubai 2023, with 9 para powerlifters (of the 11) selected during the
camps.

The 2023 Para
Powerlifting (WPPO) World Championships, which will commence in Dubai on August
22nd and run until the 30th, is a compulsory tournament to qualify for the 2024
Summer Paralympics in Paris.
