Iran's women have been called for a new sitting volleyball camp in Tehran.
Iran NPC, Tehran- A total 15 women's national players who have recently finished runner-up at the 2023 Sitting Volleyball Asia Oceania Zone Championships, called for being on court- from August 4th- by
the head coach Leila Berianian.
During the training sessions, national coach Tahereh Sadeghian will
assist her along with technical advisor Farid Saebi until 14 August.
Organized by IRISFD with Iran NPC’s
partnership, the 20th round of training camp aims at preparing Team Melli for
the upcoming events.
The list of women's players includes:
Masoumeh Zarei, Fatemeh Jahani, Zahra Lotfi, Masoumeh
Shajarati, Hadis Rezaei, Zeinab Maleki, Zahra Danaei, Zahra Nejati Aref, Batoul
Khalilzadeh, Fatemeh Abbasi, Tayebeh Jafari, Sakineh Ghoreishi khah, Farzaneh
Heidari, Mehri Fallahi, Maryam Nazeri.
The next stop for the team will be
Hangzhou, China, where Iran's female players are to face with their rivals at
the Fourth Edition of the Para Asian Games, taking place from October 22 to 28,
2023.
National women's squad came second
place at the 2018 Asian Para Games.
