Iranian women are to follow their ninth round of national training in Tehran.
Iran NPC, Tehran: A total of thirteen women are to join the new round
of wheelchair basketball training camp in Tehran, set to be held at the IRISFD’s
court from August 6, 2023.
The players will be trained by Azadeh
Sadat Moeini as head coach, and Bahar Boustani as coach, until 17 August to
prepare for upcoming Asian Para Games.
The camp has been staged by Iran Sports Federation for the Persons with Disabilities with NPC's partnership as a part of training and development program for Iran women's wheelchair basketball.
The squad has been recently hosted a joint training camp with Team Turkey in Tabriz city.
The invited athletes are as below:
Mahdieh Rohani, Roghieh Salehi, Neda Balouchi, Mahsa Sadat,
Fataneh Pourat, Tahereh Ozhand, Fatemeh Molaei, Roghieh Amiri, Samira Khaleghi,
Zahra Habibi, Fatemeh Moradi, Somayeh Kohzadpour, Zahra Nasri.
Iranian Senior Females National Team ranked fourth at the
2018 Asian Para Games.
