Iran NPC President paid a visit to men’s goalball camp.
Iran NPC, Tehran- The President of National Paralympic Committee Dr.
Ghafoor Karegary accompanied by Sports Deputy Dr. Saeid Solgi paid a visit to
the men’s goalball training camp, staged by Iran Sports Federation for the
Persons with Blind and Visual Impairments (ISFBVI) in Tehran, on Tuesday.
During the visit, President Karegary
spoke with the athletes and the technical staff and learned about the
preparation process of Team Iran for the upcoming Birmingham Games.
The meeting also involved ISFBVI’s Presidents
and other officials.
Highlighting Iranian VI-athletes'
determination, Dr. Karegary emphasized that Iran NPC supports all the National
Federation, Para athletes and the teams to meet their current needs. He also
mentioned:” As the Para Asian champions, you will be in the spotlight at
Hangzhou Asian Para Games. We believe on you and your great capabilities.”
Concluding the meeting, he wished
success for the delegation at the event.
The IBSA World Games will be held in
Birmingham, Great Britain from August 18 to 27, 2023.
