National women goalball players are to join the new training camp in Kurdistan Province of Iran.
NPC Iran, Tehran- With aim of preparing women's squad for Hangzhou
Asian Para Games (APG), the 14th round of Iran national training camp will be held in Kurdistan Province of Iran from August 14 to 23, 2023.
The camp will be run by Iran
Sports Federation for the Persons with a Vision Impairment in association with National
Paralympic Committee, under the lead of head coach Tayebeh Maleki and coach Arezoo
Hajian. Efat Nasri will also accompany the team as S&C coach.
The athletes who have been invited to
the camp:
Zahra Gazmeh, Rana Niazi, Zahra
Eidian, Maryam Hesamabadi, Fatemeh Ghaedi, Maryam Ahoon, Vida Jabarzadeh, Rizan
Dezhahang, Masoumeh Malaei.
Iranian women's goalball squad came
third at the 2018 Asian Para Games.
The Fourth Edition of APG will take
place in Hangzhou, China from October 22 to 28 this year.
