Final preparation day of the 21ts national VI judo camp held in Tehran, today.
Iran NPC, Tehran: With a 13-day of intensive training (from August 3rd), Iran men’s national VI Judo team makes its final
preparations today ahead of the 2023 Birmingham IBSA World Championships at the Sport Hall of Azadi Sport Complex in Tehran.
The squad has been trained by Head coach Mohammadreza
Haji Yousefzadeh and Assistant Coaches Farhad Mabi and Mohsen Zakaria.
Organized by Iran Sports Federation for the Persons with a Vision Impairment with National Paralympic Committee’s partnership, the camp aims to prepare the athletes for upcoming events including World Championships and Hangzhou Asian Para Games.
The athletes are as below:
Ali Navaei, Seyed Meisam Banitaba,
Vahid Nouri, Mahdi Borchlou, Vahid Jeddi, Saeid Kouhkan, Mousa Gholami, Omid
Jafari, Hossein Tavana, Mohammadhossein Babaeian and Yaghoub Kish Matin.
Iran’s Judo squad has recently topped
the podium at the 2023 Astana IBSA Judo Asian Championships in April.
IBSA World Championships will be held
in Birmingham, the UK from August 20 to 27, 2023.
