The Paracanoe World Championships starts Wednesday!
Iran NPC, Tehran: Team Iran kick off the racing in Duisburg, Germany, Wednesday on 23rd August.
Iranian Paracanoeists, including Shahla Behrouzirad, Eslam Jahedi and
Saeid Hosseinpour, are conducted by Brazilian head coach Pedro Sena and national
coach Mohsen Milad at the event.
According to Canoeicf.com Iran representatives' start list is as follows:
Saeid Hosseinpour, KL1 M 200 - Heat 2 (23 Aug. /10:40)
Eslam Jahedi, VL2 M 200 - Heat 2 (23 Aug. /15:45)
Shahla Behrouzirad, KL3 W 200 - Heat 1 (24 Aug. /11:55)
More than 180 athletes from 35 countries
have come together in
Duisburg for the ICF Paracanoe World Championships- held from August 23 to 26,
2023- with quotas for
next year’s Paris Games on the line.
The top six athletes in each of the 10 Paralympic events will
all earn their country a quota for next year’s Games, but will be restricted to
one ticket per country.
