The meeting Para Athletes' Commission was held, today at the Iran NPC headquarters, today on 29 August.
Iran NPC, Tehran: The Athletes’ Commission of National Paralympic
Committee of Iran, held in presence of the majority of members including Zahra
Nemati, Sadegh Bigdeli, Sadegh Kalhor, Gholamreza Rahimi, Samira Eram, Javad
Hardani and Sajad Mohammadian.
The meeting was also involved by NPC
officials.
It was met both virtually and
in-person today to discuss a number of important athletes' issues, including
the latest progress for the preparation of national athletes to be sent to
Hangzhou Para Asian Games and follow-up actions taken for the Fund for the
Support of Champions and Veterans.
In addition to the discussions, the
regulations for the athletes' commission were finalized. It will be presented
at the next NPC Executive Board meeting, to be approved.
Concluding the meeting, NPC CEO Dr. Kamal
Javanmard presented the appointment letters of Zahra Nemati as the Head of Athletes’
Commission and Sadegh Bigdeli, Sadegh Kalhor, Gholamreza Rahimi as the members.
The NPC Athletes’ Commission is the
voice of Iranian Para athletes to give them the opportunity to advocate for
themselves directly to the NPC leadership. To further reinforce the voice of
para athletes and provide overall support.
