Iran women’s para powerlifting team to set up the last stage of Hangzhou preparatory camps in Tehran.
Iran NPC, Tehran: National women’s para powerlifters
are to join the last stage of their training camps from 15 September, ahead of Hangzhou
Asian Para Games.
Organized by
IRISFD along with Iran NPC’s partnership, the eighth camp will be conducted by national coaches Saebeh
Abbaszadeh and Azadeh Koohdarehei. Souda Arvaneh will accompany the team
as the S&C coach.
Mahdieh Mohammadian, Zeinab Yaghoubi,
Zahra Aghaei and Nikoo Roozbahani are the athletes who will be trained until October
15th.
It is the first time that Iranian
Women are to participate in the Asian Para Games (APG).
The Fourth APG will be held in
Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province of China from October 22 to 28, 2023.
