Iranian chess squads are training at a new VI camp in Tehran from Today.
Iran NPC, Tehran: With 35 days remaining before Hangzhou Asian Para Games, the 20th national VI Chess camp starts in Tehran today, on September 17th.
Iran Sports Federation for the persons
with Vision Impairments in partnership with NPC, has called 16 Chess players to
arrange the last preparations for men's and women's national teams to be
sent to Asian Para Games.
The training sessions are led by head
coach Shadi Paridar, assisted by coaches Manijeh Hadad and Behrouz Moradi,
until 23 September.
Aliakbar Hodhodi accompanies the VI
athletes and technical staff as the team manager.
Men's invitees:
Hadi Moshirabadi, Amir Rabi, Majid Bagheri, Mohammadreza
Alizadeh, Hamzeh Mosleh Rashtabadi, Alireza Ghourchibeigi, Abolfazl Kazemian,
Amir Kachian and Omid Zakeri.
Women's invitees:
Leila Zarehzadeh, Samira Aaghaei, Malihe Safaei, Fatemeh
Rahimi, Atefeh Naghavi, Maryam Rahimzadeh and Fatemeh Bayat.
The Fourth Asian Para Games will be held in Hangzhou, China from October 22 to 28, 2023.
Iranian VI Chess players had collected four gold, six silver
and four bronze medals at the 2018 Jakarta Asian Para Games.
