The final Hangzhou preparatory camp for women’s wheelchair basketball squad will be held from October 8 to 16, 2023.
Iran NPC, Tehran: With the 4th Asian Para Games approaching, Iran
Women’s wheelchair Basketball team members are to gather in Tehran’s training
camp, set to be held at the IRISFD’s court from October 8th, 2023.
A total of 12 women will be led by
Azadeh Sadat Moeini as head coach, and Bahar Boustani as coach, at the last
round of national training sessions until October 16th (before the team’s
departure for Hangzhou) to prepare for the upcoming APG.
The camp has been staged by Iran
Sports Federation for the Persons with Disabilities in partnership with NPC as
a part of training and development program for national women's wheelchair
basketball.
The players shortlisted for the APG camp:
Mahdieh Rohani, Roghieh Salehi, Neda
Balouchi, Mahsa Sadat, Fataneh Pourat, Fatemeh Molaei, Roghieh Amiri, Samira
Khaleghi, Zahra Habibi, Fatemeh Moradi, Somayeh Kohzadpour and Zahra Nasri.
Iranian Senior Females National Wheelchair Basketball Team
ranked fourth at the 2018 Asian Para Games.
