Iran Para Asian delegation's send-off ceremony was held in Tehran.
Iran NPC, Tehran: With less than nine days until the opening of the Fourth Asian Para Games, National Paralympic Committee of Iran held a send-off ceremony for the its delegation.
The celebration was held in Iran Sports Federation for the Enabled on Thursday night (12 October).
Send-Off Party attendees met all the delegation members of the team Iran for Hangzhou APG. It was also feature an inspiring speech of NPC President Dr. Ghafoor Karegary for the national Para athletes and teams.
Team Iran will attend the Fourth APG with 211 Para Athletes competing at the 16 men's sporting events and 11 women's events.
Triple Paralympic shooting gold medallist Sareh Javanmardi has been chosen to carry Iran’s flag at the Opening Ceremony of the Asian Para Games in Hangzhou.
Iran won third place in 2018 Asian Para Games in Indonesia. Iranian athletes claimed 51 gold, 42 silver, and 43 bronze.
