Asian Para Games: Iranian Vahid Nouri makes history
Day 3 of the 4th edition of the Asian Para Games, in the city of Hangzhou, China, was the last one of the Judo competition.

 

Iran NPC, Tehran: Day 3 of the 4th edition of the Asian Para Games, in the city of Hangzhou, China, was the last one of the Judo competition.

Vahid Nouri, from Iran, winner of the J2 +90kg category, is the only IBSA Judo athlete to have won a gold judo medal at both the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games and the 2022 World Championships.

Nouri won gold at the 2018 Asian Para Games (90kg) and defended his title well in the competition, although with a different set of categories now.
