Iran beat Algeria at 2023 Sitting Volleyball World Cup.
Iran NPC, Tehran: Iran won over Algeria in his second match of Group B and advanced to the quarterfinal of the 2023 Sitting Volleyball World Cup in Cairo,
Egypt, Tuesday on November 14th.
The team kept its winning streak
going with a perfect record in the competition after beating 3-0 (25-5, 25-10,
25-10) in Group B.
Iran had defeated Japan 3-0 (25-13, 25-14, 25-22) in the opening match on Monday.
The squad plays against Iraq today (15
Nov.) in the quarterfinal match.

The 2023 WPV Sitting Volleyball World
Cup started with one match on Sunday in Cairo, Egypt.
The 14-team men's competition
consists of four groups. Egypt, Rwanda, and Iraq are in Group A. Group B consists
of Iran, Japan, and Algeria.
Group C has Brazil, China, India, and
Nigeria while Great Britain, France, Ukraine, and Germany are in Group D.
Among the participating teams who
have already secured their tickets to the Paris Paralympics is world champion
Iran and Brazil as well as host France.
The World Cup is a Paris 2024
Paralympic qualifier, where one berth per gender is available for the winner or
the highest placed non-qualified team of the tournament.
