Iranian men’s wheelchair basketball players will join the new training camp from Saturday.
Iran NPC, Tehran: A new wheelchair basketball camp has been staged by Iran Sports Federation for the Enabled in Tehran from Saturday (25 Nov). The camp aims at men's preparation for the 2024 Asia Oceania
Championships in Bangkok.
Winning the third place of Hangzhou Asian Para Games, Iran Men Wheelchair Basketball team
is to follow the national trainings at the new camp in Tehran until 3 December 2023.
A total of 15 players will train with
Head Coach Mohammadreza Dastyar, assisted by Coach Behrouz Soltani, Adel
Torfi and S&C Coach Yaser Gilaki.
The shortlisted players for the camp
are as follows:

Heidari, Omid Hadi Azhar, Aboulfazl Jalaei, Reza Eivazi, Ebrahim Ahmadi,

The IWBF Asia Oceania Championships will be held in Bangkok,
Thailand between 12 to 20 January 2024 and the winners of both the men’s and
women’s competition will qualify directly for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
