Iran’s and Korea’s NPCs officially signed a MoU today.
Iran NPC, Tehran: The presidents of the National Paralympic Committees of
Islamic Republic of Iran and Republic of Korea officially signed a Memorandum
of Understanding (MoU) on the first day of the Asian Paralympic Committee Conference
at the general and electoral assembly in Riyadh.
The existence of numerous scientific sports capacities and a
history of backing the advancement of the Paralympic movement in Iran and Republic
of Korea has facilitated the signing of this memorandum.
The two Presidents, Dr. Ghafoor Karegary and Mr. Jin-owan
Jung, highlighted the significance of this memorandum in fostering the growth
of the Paralympic movement in both Iran and Korea, as well as enhancing the
performance of Paralympic athletes of Iran and Republic of Korea.
Within the next month, the parties have mutually agreed to
provide the implementation details of this memorandum in Para Archery and Para
Table Tennis, with emphasis on prioritizing their academic collaboration.
A two-day Asian Paralympic Committee Conference, including
the Asian Awards, is underway (Nov. 25-26) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and followed
by General Assembly on November 27 and 28, 2023.
