Iran’s Para Taekwondo national team will head to World Grand Prix Final in Manchester.
Iran NPC, Tehran: Five Iranian Para Taekwondoins will return to the
mat for the first time since their debut of Hangzhou APG this month, at the 2023
World Para Taekwondo Grand Prix Final in Manchester.
With places on Paris 2024 Paralympic
Games at stake, the lineup will see the best of the best leave everything out
on the mat as they battle to be world champions.
According to I.R. Iran Taekwondo
Federation, Maryam Abdollahpour (-47kg), Saeid Sadeghianpour (-63kg), Mahdi
Pourrahnama (-70kg), Alireza Bakht (-80kg) and Hamed Haghshenas (+80kg) are to
represent Team Iran in Manchester, the GB.
Payam Khanlarkhani and Atefeh
Keshavarz will conduct the men and women athletes as the head coaches.
The squad will leave Tehran for the competition
tomorrow on November 28, 2023.
The 2023 World Para Taekwondo Grand Prix Final will be held at
the Manchester Regional Arena Manchester on Friday 1st December.
