Iran NPC, Tehran: In 2024, there will be 45,000 volunteers! They will cover
a range of different missions, all focused on one goal: ensuring an exceptional
experience for everyone involved in the Games.
IDV, Olympic and Paralympic Games
International Volunteer Day (IVD) is
an international observance mandated by the UN General Assembly in 1985. IVD, 5
December, is an occasion to pay tribute to volunteers worldwide and to
recognize the value of volunteerism in advancing peace and development.
Volunteers are the face, soul, heart
and smile of Olympic and Paralympic Games.
They will play a key role in the
success of the Paris 2024 Games and will help make this event truly
unforgettable.
Being a volunteer for Paris 2024
means sharing unique moments and emotions. It means embodying the sense of
hospitality and values that France is renowned for with all of the stakeholders
involved in the Games. It means being part of a team of 45,000 people from a
range of different backgrounds, but all united together under the same colours.
Paris 2024 Volunteer’s conditions

the vision of the Paris 2024 Games: open to everyone, inclusive and equal!
Paris 2024 welcomed people of all ages and all languages.
The registration for volunteering started with opening of the
Volunteer Portal on 22 March 2023 and closed on 3 May 2023.
According to Paris 2024, there were three conditions for
applying:
Be
at least 18 years old on January 1st, 2024.
Speak
French and/or English.
Be available for at least 10 days between the opening
of the Athletes’ Village and two days after the closing of the Paralympic Games.
