NPC President paid a visit to the training camp of National Para Canoe Team.
NPC IRAN, Tehran: The President of the National Paralympic Committee
Dr. Ghafoor Karegary together with NPC Sports Deputy Dr. Saeed Solgi, hold a
meeting at Iran Canoeing-Rowing and Sailing Federation (ICRSF) and also visited
Para Canoe training camp and talked to the athletes on Wednesday 27 December
2023.
This visit was also involved Dr.
Alireza Sohrabian, the Head of ICRSF alongside the technical staff of national
para canoe team.
After a detailed review of the
national preparatory camps by Dr. Sohrabian, NPC President talked to the team.
Addressing the Canoeists at the camp,
Dr. Karegary stated that Iranian para athletes have been demonstrated potential
and ambition to succeed in gaining key roles at the highest level of their
sport, many times.
“As the Head of Iran NPC, I have come
here firstly, to appreciate the efforts and determination of you and your
coaches, and secondly, to emphasize on our support of you; NPC will stay by
your side, “Dr. Karegary said to the Team.
He added: “Iranian Para Canoeists showcased
their capabilities at Hangzhou Asian Para Games. Now you should focus on the
Paris 2024 quotas more than before. You have the most important requirements,
including strong motivations and experienced technical staff.”
