New round of training camp for para shooters are to begin in Tehran.
Iran NPC, Tehran: The first round of national trainings for Iranian
para shooters are to start from Friday 5 January 2024.
A total of five para athletes are to
join the camp in Tehran at the range of IRISFE under the lead of head coach
Hossein Amiri and coach Zeinab Agha Aliakbari, until January 20th.
The shortlisted para shooters for the
camp are:
Nasrin Shahi, Seyed Mohammadreza
Mirshafiei, Sareh Javanmardi, Roghayeh Shojaei, Faezeh Ahmadi.
At the Fourth Asian Para Games, Iran’s
Faezeh Ahmadi won the title and the other Iranian representative Sareh
Javanmardi picked a silver in women’s 10 air pistol SH1, in P2.
Iranian Para shooters have achieved
six Paralympic quota places for Paris 2024.
