Iranian men's wheelchair basketball team won their opening match of the 2024 IWBF AOZ Championships, today.
Iran NPC, Tehran: On the second day of the 2024 IWBF Asia Oceania Wheelchair Basketball Championships, Team Iran won over South Korea 67-48 at Bangkok Youth Center, today on January 13th.
In pool A, Team Iran will next play against the host, Thailand on January 14th at 12:30 PM.
Pool A includes Australia, China, Iran, Japan, Korea, and Thailand while pool B consists of Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, New Zealand, the Philippines, and the United Arab Emirates.
The 2024 Asia Oceania Championships is underway in Bangkok, Thailand between 12 – 20 January 2024.
The winners will qualify directly for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
