New para powerlifting preparatory camp will be started for men on Friday.

 

Iran NPC, Tehran: The second round of national para powerlifting camp will be launched from January 19th in Tehran.

A total of eight men’s para powerlifters are to start their attempts under the lead of head coach Hossein Tavakoli, assisted by coach Ahmad Molla Hosseini on Paris 2024 road until February 5th.

The shortlisted athletes for the camp are:

Mohsen Bakhtiar, Saman Razi, Ahmad Aminzadeh, Amir Jafari, Mahdi Sayadi, Aliakbar Gharibshahi, Rouhollah Rostami, Seyed Hamed Solhipour.

Organized by Iran Sports Federation for the Enabled in partnership with NPC, the camp aims at the athletes’ preparation for the upcoming Fazza World Cup which will serve as the 2024 Paralympic Games qualifiers.
The 13th Fazza Para Powerlifting 2024 World Cup will be held in Dubai, UAE from 29 February to 6 March.
