NPC President visited the first round of national para shooting training camp, today.
Iran NPC, Tehran:
NPC President Dr. Ghafoor Karegary paid a visit to the first round of national
para shooting preparatory camp of Paris 2024, staged by I. R. Iran Sports Federation for the Enabled
(IRISFE) at Tehran’s Azadi Sport Complex.
President Karegary, accompanied by NPC Deputy
for Sports Dr. Saeid Solgi, said that he was overwhelmed to see the enthusiasm
of the para shooters to chase their goals and the NPC shall provide all
possible help to them in the road to 2024 Paris Paralympic Games.
“There is clearly a lot of potential for
growth of the Para Shooting in Iran, and I would like to thank our national
athletes and coaches for their efforts during these national camps. As you
Know, Dreams come true so keep track of your progress and don’t give up.”
The
first round of national training camp of Shooting Para Sport is underway from
January 5 to 20, 2024, under the lead of head coach Hossein Amiri.
Iranian
Para shooters have achieved six Paralympic quota places for Paris 2024.
