An 8-day VI Judo training camp will be held in Mazandaran from Tuesday.

 

Iran NPC, Tehran: A total of seven national judokas with vision impairments are to join the second preparatory camp of Paris 2024 Paralympic Games in Mazandaran province from 30 January.

Staged by Iran Sports Federation for the Blind and Visually Impaired (IRISFB) in partnership with National Paralympic Committee, men’s Judokas are to prepare for battle on tatami mats of the 2024 IBSA Judo Grand Prix.

The athletes will train with head coach Mohammadreza Haji Yousefzadeh and the coaches Farhad Mabi and Mohsen Zakaria at Shahid Azimi Sport Complex, until 7 February.

The shortlisted Judokas for the camp are:

Seyed Meysam Banitaba, Vahid Nouri, Saeid Kouhkan, Mousa Gholami, Mohammad Saeidi, Yaghoub Kish Matin, Mohammadhossein Babaeian

The IBSA Judo Grand Prix will be held in Heidelberg, Germany from February 14 to 19, 2024.
