Iranian para shooters are to start their second training camp in Tehran from tomorrow.
Iran
NPC, Tehran: A total of five para shooters will aim the
targets of second national rifle and pistol preparatory camp of Paris 2024, from 4 February.
The camp will be
conducted by Head coach Hossein Amiri and, assisted by national coaches
Zeinab Agha Aliakbari and Ebrahim Rahimi, until 18 February.
Training
sessions will run at ranges of both IRISFE and Azadi Sport Complex.
National shooting
para sport’s training program is staged by I. R. Iran Sports Federation for the Enabled
(IRISFE) with NPC’s support and cooperation.
The shortlisted
para shooters for the camp are:
Sareh
Javanmardi, Nasrin Shahi, Faezeh Ahmadi, Seyed Mohammadreza Mirshafiei, Roghayeh
Shojaei.
At the Fourth
Asian Para Games, Iran’s Faezeh Ahmadi won the title and the other Iranian
representative Sareh Javanmardi picked a silver in women’s 10 air pistol SH1,
in P2.
Iranian Para
shooters have achieved six Paralympic quota places for Paris 2024.
