Athletes’ Commission (AC) discussed supportive role of the NPC representatives at the national training camps.
Iran NPC, Tehran: The ninth edition of the National Paralympic
Committee (NPC) Athletes’ Commission held at the Iran NPC headquarters, today
on April 15, 2024.
The 2008 Paralympic Champion Abdolreza
Jokar became the newest member of Iran National Paralympic Committee’s AC.
During the meeting, the AC members discussed
topics that are relevant to the Iranian athletes' community, including athletes’
rights, clean sport, integrity and the positive feedback received on the attendance of NPC’s
representatives in the national training camps and their supportive roles for
the athletes and teams.
The quality of the Paris 2024
training camps and their impact on athlete preparation for the upcoming Games were
also high on the agenda.
The in person gathering of Athletes’
Commission included Iranian Para Skier Sadegh Kalhor, Para Volley player Sadegh
Bigdeli, Blind Footballer Ahmadreza Shahhosseini and Para Archer Gholamreza
Rahimi as well as the NPC Sport Deputy Dr. Saeid Solgi and his colleagues, while
Para Archer Zahra Nemati and Para Shooter Samira Eram followed the discussions
remotely.
